I don’t do boring well.

The thing I miss most after leaving my employer of 23 years was the daily email of encouragement and frivolity that I would send to my coworkers. They were full of stories, wisdom, gifs, memes, poetry, and very specific references on what it was like working in Surgery, and in a hospital supply chain. It was my way of expressing myself in a creative way, and it was a fun way to bring people joy and raise morale, because these are dark times for hospital supply chains and morale is needed.

This blog is my new and improved “email of encouragement and frivolity” that I am sending out to my new coworkers, the Universe!

Besides writing, I like to create. All the art on this site is drawn by me. I also enjoy music, nature, dancing, trying new and unusual things (see aforementioned comment on boring), playing RPGs, dressing up, and getting my family to partake in various shenanigans, some of which I am sure will make for some interesting blog fodder.
